Nil Loy serves as Corporate Secretary to HealthX Partners’ Board. Nil is also PSI’s General Counsel, responsible for leading the legal team and overseeing PSI’s legal affairs around the world. She also serves as a Director for Population Services International UK Limited.

Nil has over 25 years of legal experience working with multinational companies and non-profit organizations. She has overseen and handled a broad range of complex legal matters in over 100 countries across six continents. Nil is also a mission-driven executive and has spent much of the last decade with organizations devoted to improving people’s lives – most recently, as General Counsel for Vital Strategies, Inc. where she led the legal team, and previously as Associate General Counsel at Abt Associates, Inc. where she oversaw its day-to-day legal affairs around the world.

Nil began her career as a commercial litigator specializing in labor and employment at Sidley in New York City and Akin Gump in Washington, D.C. She also served as in-house counsel to a publicly traded internet infrastructure company and a summer clerk to the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Nil holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds several professional certifications, including in privacy (Certified Information Privacy Professional – US), mediation, and project management foundations for international development professionals.
