Dr. Stephen Tang

Dr. Stephen S. Tang, Ph.D., MBA, is a mission-driven global public health leader dedicated to expanding equitable access to life-saving health technologies and strengthening health systems worldwide. Throughout his career, he has focused on translating innovation into real-world impact for underserved populations, most notably by guiding OraSure Technologies in the global deployment of rapid, at-home diagnostics for HIV, COVID-19, HCV, and Ebola. Dr. Tang currently serves as Chairman of the Board of NOWDiagnostics. His broader board service includes roles with the William & Mary Foundation, Lehigh University, and the National Advisory Council for Innovation & Entrepreneurship to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
